We are very delighted to present a new resource “You can ask for what you need from aged care services” film which aims to raise awareness to older people from culturally diverse backgrounds about their right to give feedback to an aged care service.
The film was produced and directed by Red Hat Films and supported by Elder Rights Advocacy.
The film is available in 16 languages, including new and emerging languages.

Moving Pictures
The Centre is pleased to share the innovative multi-media project Moving Pictures Project. This Project aims to raise awareness of dementia in people with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The Moving Pictures team have co-produced 15 short films.

The Encompass Multicultural Aged Care Connector program is a partnership between the Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia and the local community organisations to provide navigational support to older people of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds and their communities to access the aged care system and other supports.

Communication Cards and Aged Care Signage
We are pleased to announce that we have introduced 2 more languages to our collection of cards and signs: Swahili and Swedish.
We now have a total of 63 languages free to download from our website.
